Group Bike Ride to SKETCHY BEACH!!

Last year I did this description with emojis and stuff, but I'm lazy this year.

Come on a group bike ride to Montreal's best secret sketchy beach spot. Weather permitting!

WHERE:

• Meet up at 2515 Rue Delisle, intersection Charlevoix.

• Latecomers are welcome, but you'll have to text someone to find out where we end up

• The spot is a 20-30 minute bike ride. It's only accessible by bike, or by a looooong walk from a bus stop. You can't drive there! We have to descend a small hill and walk along a trail for a few minutes to get to the beach spot.

WHEN:

• Meet at 5pm

• We'll depart at 5:30pm sharp

WHAT (to bring):

It's a sketchy beach, so there are no amenities, no services, no bathrooms.

• Water/beverages/extra water

• Firewood so we can have a fire

• Chair, tarp, towel - something to sit on!

• Snacks to eat and share

• Bike lights

• Bug spray

• Glasses/facemask/face covering - depending on the weather, sometimes it can be a bit buggy on ride there/back

• Clothes - you can swim if you want, but it's also good to wear long pants for small amount of bushwhacking

• I'll bring a big bluetooth speaker for music

WHY:

This is meant to be a chill activity for people to meet and greet before the chaos of Saturday/Sunday. This beach is an awesome and special part of Montreal - the best place to watch the sunset and the easiest way to get out of the city without a car. Borrow some bikes for your out of town friends and bring them along! We'll get there in time to enjoy the sunset.
